Our Story

I’m Grace, the founder and designer behind The Grace Treasures, a small independent studio based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I design and create wool coats in my studio, working closely with a small team who shares my respect for materials and craftsmanship. We focus on softness, structure, and ease — pieces that feel natural to wear and comfortable to live in.

Wool is at the heart of my work. I’m especially drawn to double-faced wool for its warmth, quiet strength, and gentle touch. Each garment is shaped slowly, with care and patience, allowing the fabric to guide the design rather than forcing it into trends.

My team and I believe in making fewer pieces, made well. We value thoughtful construction, lasting quality, and clothing that becomes part of daily life over time.

Where can you find us?

We collaborate with two independent designer spaces in San Francisco’s Sunset District and San Mateo on the Peninsula Area. You’re welcome to visit, try on our wool coats, and feel the natural softness in person.

What is double-faced wool?

Double-faced wool is one layer of fabric with two outer sides. Normally fabric has a back and a front, but double face is created by weaving together two layers of fabric to create one piece that looks identical on both sides. This means you don’t need to add a lining – you still get the warmth, but with a lightweight and really comfortable finish.
